Meet Tamara from the Manufacturing Department!

Since 2016, Tamara has been working at ARNO and in her role as assembly assistant, she is implementing our customers' ideas and concepts together with her department with attention to every detail. She enjoys the variety and challenges that each project brings, as every project is somehow unique.

In her free time, Tamara enjoys herself while painting, playing the guitar, or playing a good video game.

Meet Bernd from the IT department!

Bernd has been with ARNO for 24 years and as an IT administrator at the headquarters, he manages everything to do with servers, networks, telephones, etc. - for all our departments and locations.
The daily interaction and teamwork with different people is what makes his job so appealing to him.

He has been using the JobRad | Deutschland to cycle to work for about two years now, and as an enthusiastic volleyball coach for the women's team in Linsenhofen, he also gets plenty of exercise in his spare time.

Meet Gabriele from the HR department!

With 35 years of experience at ARNO, Gabriele (but often called Gabi) is one of our employees with the longest tenure with the company. She has been working as the Head of HR for more than 20 years and supports all ARNO employees on a daily basis - from recruitment to the moment they leave the company. Above all, she appreciates the solidarity to people and the variety of her tasks.

Gabi enjoys spending her free time with her family, going for long walks in the countryside, and reading a good book whenever possible.

Questions about working for ARNO?

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions. And, of course, the answers. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

What benefits does ARNO offer?
  • Work-life balance: 30 days holiday plus extra holiday pay & voluntary bonuses
  • Pension scheme: capital-forming payments & direct insurance
  • Flexibility & Community: Remote working, parking & employee events
  • Family Friendly: Childcare allowance to help you balance work and family life
  • Health & exercise: JobRad & subsidised gym & swimming pool fees, as well as paid entry to certain sporting events
  • Physical well-being: Breakfast & lunch in the canteen incl. meal allowance
How do I apply?

You will receive immediate confirmation that your application has been received. We will then review it and let you know whether we will invite you for an interview (usually via Teams first) or whether we cannot consider your application in the further process.

If both sides agree that it might be a good match, we will invite you for a second interview at our headquarters, which may include a small practical task. This will give you a better insight into the job and we will be able to assess whether there is a really good fit between you and us.

If this is the case, you will have the opportunity to get to know your future colleagues and ARNO even better in a personal 'Meet the Team'.

Can I work remotely?

In principle, it is possible to work remotely. However, it depends a little on your area of responsibility: Production, prototyping and logistics require you to be on-site.

In all other departments it is possible to work from home - a rough rule of thumb is 2 days at home and 3 days in the office, although individual arrangements can always be made with the manager.

What is the onboarding process like?

On your first day you will be welcomed by either Gabi or Jasmin and given a tour through ARNO.

We generally separate a company-wide onboarding from a specialist one. For your company-wide onboarding, you will be given a plan to help you get to know all the departments and teams and get an overview of your responsibilities and possible interfaces. Your professional induction will take place individually within your team.

To make your start with us easier, you will also be assigned a mentor. This is usually a colleague from outside your team who will act as an informal point of contact for any questions you may have in the first few days and weeks.

Why should I choose ARNO?

Clearly, you have to answer that question for yourself. Our corporate culture is characterised by togetherness, cooperation, trust, helpfulness and respect.

We are a strong community. We put our heart and soul into creating successful shopping experiences. To do this, we need people who work with us to make shopping easier and more enjoyable.
